1. What is Capacity Coaching and how does it differ from general personal training?

Capacity Coaching is a strength coaching service focused on increasing your physical capacity, resilience, and performance over time. We focus on increasing strength, mobility, energy, and functional ability so you can perform better in life, sport, and work.

2. What is strength coaching for and is it right for me?

Answer:
Strength coaching is suitable for a wide range of people, from beginners who want to start with structured resistance training, to experienced mature athletes seeking performance gains, to older adults who want to preserve strength and mobility. If you want to grow your physical capacity, reduce injury risk, or improve your overall fitness, strength coaching can help you.

3. What kinds of personal training services do you offer?

Answer:
At Capacity Coaching, we offer:

  • One-on-one personal training sessions

  • Small group strength coaching

Each program is tailored to your goals, current fitness level, and schedule.

4. How do I get started?

Answer:
Getting started is easy:

  1. Fill out the contact or application form on our website.

  2. We’ll schedule an initial consultation (in person or online).

  3. We assess your goals, movement history, and current strength.

  4. We build you a custom strength and training plan.

  5. You begin training with coaching support, progress monitoring, and adjustments.

5. How often should I train to see results?

Answer:
It depends on your goals, schedule, and training experience, but typically:

  • Beginners: 2–3 sessions per week


Consistency over time is more important than short bursts of high frequency.

 

6. Are there any restrictions or medical concerns that would prevent me from doing strength coaching?

Answer:
If you have serious medical conditions (e.g. uncontrolled hypertension, recent surgery, cardiovascular disease, joint replacements, etc.), you should consult your healthcare provider before beginning any resistance training program. During your consultation, we’ll review your medical history and may modify training accordingly. Many conditions can be accommodated with scaled or rehabilitation-style strength protocols.

 

7. How much do your strength coaching / personal training services cost?

Answer:
Our pricing depends on the chosen package (one-on-one, small group, online, hybrid) and the frequency of sessions. Please contact us for the current rates or view our “Pricing & Packages” page. We also offer introductory trials, payment plans, and membership discounts.

8. What if I can’t make it to sessions occasionally?

Answer:
We offer flexible scheduling and make-up sessions where possible (subject to availability). Communication is key — we’ll work with you to keep consistency even when life intervenes.

9. Where does Capacity Coaching offer personal training and strength coaching?

Answer:
Capacity Coaching provides strength coaching and personal training in Brisbane, with training available at two convenient locations: Toowong and Coorparoo.

  • At Toowong, one-on-one personal training is offered in a fully equipped gym environment.

  • At Coorparoo, we provide both one-on-one and small group strength sessions, combining expert guidance with a supportive community feel.
